The Nothing Phone (2) has been spotted on the BIS certification website, indicating that the company's mid-range premium phone may be released soon. Although Nothing's CEO, Carl Pei, had previously confirmed the existence of the phone, he did not disclose any information about its launch date. However, with the recent BIS certification, it is likely that the release event will take place soon. Here's what we know so far about the upcoming Nothing phone.

Nothing Phone 2 Specifications (EXPECTED)

According to leaked information and rumors, the Nothing Phone (2) is likely to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display operating at FHD+ resolution. It may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. However, it is not expected to have a UFS 4.0 storage solution like flagship devices and will likely have the UFS 3.1 version.

The Nothing Phone (2) could have a 5,000mAh battery and support 67W fast charging and wireless fast charging. It may run on the Nothing OS based on the Android 13 OS out of the box. The device may have a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) at the back.

The new phone is expected to be more expensive than its predecessor because of the additional features it will offer. However, it is still expected to be priced lower than the OnePlus 11R to compete with OnePlus and offer a value-for-money product. Nothing has previously kept the prices of its products low.

The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to be released in the second or third quarter of 2023, which is still a long way off. We will have more information on the 5G phone when it is launched in the coming months or weeks.
