Display
The Asus ROG Phone 6 comes with a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen measuring 1080 x 2400 pixels in resolution. The Republic of Gamers device is one of the first smartphones to feature a 165 Hz maximum refresh rate. Additionally, the screen supports HDR10+ with its 800 nits typical brightness and 1200 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Victus. The gaming smartphone has a 82.2% screen to body ratio. There is also an additional screen at the back side of the device that can be used as a notification LED. There are additional touch sensitive trigger buttons present that supports various gestures.
Specifications
The Asus ROG Phone 6 is among the top performers by using the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 paired with up to 16 GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Asus gaming phone also has a hefty 6000 mAh battery capacity and can charge at maximum of 65 W. The device also supports 10 W of reverse wired charging.
Camera
A 50 MP SONY IMX766 primary camera along with a 13 MP ultrawide camera and a 5 MP macro camera make up the triple camera system on the Asus ROG Phone 6. The Sony Exmor-RS CMOS sensor is used in the main camera system. The selfie and video call department is handled by a 12 MP camera with HDR, panorama images and 1080p video capture at 30 frames per second.
Connectivity
Asus ROG Phone 6 comes with all the latest connectivity standards including WiFi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2 LE, NFC and more. The ROG Phone is also among the few flagship to still come with a 3.5 mm audio jack. In addition to that there are two USB Type-C ports, while the port on the side of the smartphone supports USB 3.1 speeds the bottom port max outs at USB 2.0 speeds.
