This time, I was in luck as my booking had my correct name, thanks to IndiGo's understanding that people can have single-digit surnames. Setting up the DigiYatra app was straightforward, and I was able to log in using my phone number and link my Aadhaar via OTP verification. I also uploaded my flight ticket and took a selfie to authenticate my identity.

When I arrived at the airport, I showed my face to the digital kiosk at the initial security checkpoint and scanned the barcode on the DigiYatra app. My face was then verified with the one I shared earlier on the app, along with my details via Aadhaar. During the primary scanning area, I repeated the process, and I was through in less than three minutes. Overall, I completed my two-level security checks in just 15 minutes, which is the least amount of time it has ever taken me to clear security at the Bengaluru airport.

I liked the fact that the DigiYatra app cut down the time spent at security checks and eliminated the need to carry additional documents. The app's facial recognition technology serves as an authenticator, and it's incredibly convenient. However, there are a few suggestions I have to make it even better. The app should allow users to add more types of documents, such as passports, as the majority of people have their full names on them. Additionally, the app could display terminal and boarding gate details to make navigating the airport easier.

Overall, DigiYatra is an excellent example of how Aadhaar can be used to simplify domestic travel and eliminate the hassles associated with airport security checks.
