Motorola has announced the launch of its new Moto Pad 70 Groove tablet in India. The device will be available starting July 31. The Moto Pad 70 Groove features a 12.1-inch LCD display, a 360-degree kickstand, and a 9-speaker JBL audio system. Motorola aims to offer a premium tablet experience with advanced audio and display technology.
The Moto Pad 70 Groove is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. It includes a 10,200mAh battery, designed to provide extended usage on a single charge. The 12.1-inch LCD display offers a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, ensuring high-quality visuals. In High Brightness Mode, the display can reach up to 800 nits of peak brightness.
The tablet's standout feature is its 9-speaker JBL audio system. This setup includes four tweeters, three woofers, and two passive radiators. Motorola states that the system can deliver up to 48W of audio output. The Moto Pad 70 Groove can also function as a Bluetooth speaker, expanding its use beyond standard tablet functions.
The Moto Pad 70 Groove will ship with Android 16 pre-installed. Motorola has committed to providing Android OS upgrades through Android 18. The company also promises security updates for the tablet until 2030. This long-term support aims to enhance the device's value and security for users.
A Flipkart microsite for the Moto Pad 70 Groove has revealed most of the tablet's key specifications. The design of the Moto Pad 70 Groove closely resembles previous Motorola tablets, but it introduces several new features. The combination of a large display, advanced audio, and extended software support positions the Moto Pad 70 Groove as a strong contender in the Indian tablet market.
