7.7
6.7-inch curved AMOLED at 120Hz looks vivid and smooth for everyday browsing and video.
Camera
6.8
50MP main camera with an 8MP ultrawide captures decent daylight shots, softening indoors.
Performance
6.4
Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 handles everyday apps and light gaming comfortably, though it's clearly mid-range.
Battery
7.4
5000mAh battery with 45W charging comfortably covers a full day of typical, moderate use.
Value
7.4
A more affordable Pro+ alternative that trades the periscope telephoto lens for genuine savings.
Expert Conclusion
The Realme 12 Pro brings much of the Pro+'s curved AMOLED design and distinctive circular camera module to a more accessible price point, without the telephoto zoom lens. The 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display, at 120Hz, remains vivid and smooth for everyday browsing, streaming, and video. Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 performance is smooth for daily multitasking and light gaming, though it clearly sits in mid-range territory rather than aiming for flagship speed. The dual camera setup, comprising a 50MP main sensor and 8MP ultrawide, captures decent daylight photos, with noticeable softness appearing indoors. Battery life is dependable, with 5,000mAh and 45W charging covering a full day comfortably. Overall, a sensible choice for buyers wanting Pro-series design without the zoom camera premium.
