Recently, a reliable leaker of software updates disclosed that iOS 17 will be released and will only be compatible with three iPhone models. However, there's a catch: the new update will also remove support for three iPad models. According to the leaker, the iPhones that will not receive the update are iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X, while the unsupported iPad models include iPad (5th generation), 9.7-inch iPad Pro (1st generation), and 12.9-inch iPad Pro (1st generation).

Keep in mind that these are just rumors at the moment and have not been officially confirmed by Apple. With time, we'll know for sure which devices will be compatible with iOS 17 and which ones will be left behind. However, it's always a good idea to keep your devices up-to-date with the latest software to ensure optimal performance and security.
