Apple will introduce new features to Apple Intelligence at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June. The company plans to release these updates in September. Recent discoveries in backend code reveal four significant additions to Apple Intelligence.
Visual Intelligence will soon scan food nutrition labels. This feature aims to provide users with detailed nutritional information. It may also integrate with the Health app, allowing users to track their dietary intake more efficiently.
Another Visual Intelligence upgrade will let users add printed phone numbers or addresses directly to their Contacts. This builds on the current ability to add details to the Calendar app. The new function will help users quickly save important contact information from physical documents.
Apple Wallet will gain the ability to generate digital passes. Users can scan event tickets, gym membership cards, and similar items to create digital versions. This feature already exists in Google Wallet for Android devices. Apple’s adoption of this function will offer users a more streamlined experience for managing passes.
Safari will use artificial intelligence to name tab groups automatically. The browser will analyze the contents of each group and assign a relevant name. While not a major change, this update could help users organize their browsing sessions more effectively.
Apple plans to unveil these features at its annual developer conference in June. The public release is scheduled for September. These updates aim to enhance user convenience and integrate artificial intelligence more deeply into daily tasks.
