Asus has expanded its laptop lineup in India with the launch of the ExpertBook Ultra. This new device targets professionals seeking high performance in a lightweight design. The ExpertBook Ultra starts at Rs 1,49,990 and weighs less than 1 kg. Pre-orders begin today, and sales start on April 29, 2026. The laptop will be available via Flipkart and authorised retail stores.
The Asus ExpertBook Ultra is powered by the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor. This chip integrates CPU, GPU, and NPU, offering a unified platform for demanding tasks. The laptop supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and performance for business users.
The device delivers up to 180 TOPS of AI performance, which supports on-device AI tasks. It is classified as a Copilot+ PC and includes a dedicated key for quick access to AI features. The laptop also features Intel Arc graphics and supports up to 50W TDP, making it suitable for productivity and creative workloads.
Connectivity options include two Thunderbolt ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack with DAC support. The laptop is equipped with WiFi 7 for faster wireless connections.
The ExpertBook Ultra is designed for portability, weighing under 1 kg and measuring just 10.9mm thick. It comes in two color options: Morn Grey and Jet Fog, both offering a professional appearance. The chassis uses a PEO coating and Nano Ceramic technology to enhance durability and resistance to wear.
The laptop is MIL-STD 810H certified, meaning it has passed tests for temperature changes, vibration, and altitude. The hinges and outer shell are reinforced for long-term use, which is important for frequent travelers and business professionals.
The device features a 3K Tandem OLED display with up to 1400 nits HDR brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and includes an anti-reflective layer to improve visibility in bright environments.
The ExpertBook Ultra includes a 70W battery, which Asus claims can provide up to 19 hours of use on a single charge. Fast charging support is also available for quick power top-ups during busy workdays.
Pre-orders for the Asus ExpertBook Ultra are open now, with official sales starting April 29, 2026. The laptop will be sold through Flipkart and authorised retail outlets across India.
