Infinix has launched the GT 50 Pro, its latest gaming-focused smartphone, nearly a year after its predecessor. The new model introduces a refined design, improved cooling, and a larger battery. It continues the brand's focus on gaming, featuring a dynamic RGB light array on the rear panel.
The GT 50 Pro integrates the new HydroFlow liquid cooling system, which covers a 6,437mm² area for optimal thermal management. The device uses an all-big core CPU architecture, delivering faster GPU and improved NPU performance. It pairs the processor with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
Infinix includes its in-house N1 network management chip in the GT 50 Pro. This chip is designed to provide 60% stronger signal performance. The phone also features new dual-pressure shoulder triggers. These triggers support up to 8 mapping points and offer 10 levels of adjustable pressure sensitivity. Users can remap the triggers for gaming or assign them to launch apps and control camera zoom functions.
The GT 50 Pro has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels. The screen supports a variable refresh rate from 30Hz to 144Hz and reaches up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the display.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, a 13MP camera sits inside a punch-hole cutout.
The GT 50 Pro offers either a 6,500mAh or 6,150mAh battery, depending on the region. Both versions support 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wired charging. With the new MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory, users can enable wireless bypass charging, which delivers power directly to the motherboard.
The device runs on Android 16, and Infinix promises five years of software support. The GT 50 Pro comes in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier color options. In Indonesia, pricing starts at the base version, and open sales begin tomorrow.
