Oppo has started rolling out its April ColorOS 16 update to select smartphones. This monthly update introduces a new UEFA Champions League watermark and a video playback speed adjustment feature. The update will reach users between April 8 and April 30.
The April ColorOS 16 update adds a UEFA Champions League watermark to the Photos app. This watermark will be available from April 15 to June 10, 2026. Users can apply this watermark to their photos during this period.
Another feature included in the update is the ability to adjust video playback speed in the Photos app. Users can now choose between 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, and 2x speeds when playing local videos. This provides more flexibility when viewing video content stored on their devices.
The update is being released to several Oppo smartphone series. The Find X9 series, Find X8 series, Reno15 Series, and Reno14 Series are all eligible for this update. The rollout began on April 8 and will continue through April 30.
Oppo continues its practice of providing monthly updates to enhance user experience and introduce new features. The addition of the UEFA Champions League watermark and playback speed controls reflects Oppo's focus on multimedia capabilities.
Users with eligible devices should receive a notification to download and install the update during the rollout window. The new features are designed to offer more customization and control over photo and video content within the Photos app.
Oppo recommends keeping devices updated to access the latest features and improvements. The company has not announced additional changes or features in this update beyond the watermark and playback speed options.
