The Google Pixel 6a has not yet been released in India, but the firm promises that it will be available later this year. The Google Pixel 6a is expected to be released in India in June. At the same time, the Pixel 6a pricing in India is expected to be approximately Rs 40,000.
The launch of the next Google Pixel phone in India has already been announced for this summer. The new Pixel phone features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ display, a 12.2-megapixel main camera on the back, and a 4,306mAh battery. The good news is that Google has confirmed the Pixel 6a's launch in India, unlike last year.
The Google Pixel 6a, a scaled-down variant of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, was unveiled at Google I/O. The latest smartphone in the Google Pixel 6 series will be available for purchase in India, unlike the devices released last year. Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro are powered by Google's Tensor SoC, feature a similar design, and will run the most recent version of Android. They differ from one another, however, in terms of price, display, camera, and battery capacity.
We'll examine the prices and features of the Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro in this article.
Prices of the Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro
In limited locations, the Google Pixel 6a went on sale for $449 (approximately Rs. 34,800). According to Google, the Pixel 6a will be available in three color options: Chalk, Charcoal, and Sage, and will be available for pre-order in the United States starting July 21. Google has yet to disclose pricing and availability for the Google Pixel 6a in additional markets, such as India.
Last year, the Google Pixel 6 was released for $599 (approximately Rs. 45,000), while the Pixel 6 Pro was released for $899. (roughly Rs. 67,500). In India, neither the Pixel 6 nor the Pixel 6 Pro were released.
Specifications of the Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro
The Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro all have dual-SIM phones with an octa-core Google Tensor processor. In terms of software, the phones run Android 12 and have 128GB of internal storage.
A 6.40-inch full-HD+ display with a pixel density of 411 pixels per inch (PPI) and a refresh rate of 90 frames per second is featured on the Pixel 6.
The Pixel 6 Pro has a 6.70-inch Quad HD+ display with a pixel density of 512 pixels per inch (PPI) and a refresh rate of 120 frames per second.
The Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro each have 6GB of RAM, 8GB of RAM, and 12GB of RAM, respectively.
SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CAMERA
The most significant distinctions between these three MOBILE phones may be seen in the camera section. And if anyone buys the phone then the first feature, he or she looks about is CAMERA.
The Pixel 6a has two rear cameras: a 12.2-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens.
The Pixel 6 features two rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.85 lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens.
On the other hand, the Pixel 6 Pro boasts a triple rear camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.85 lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/3.5 lens.
The Pixel 6a and Pixel 6 have an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video chats, while the Pixel 6 Pro features an 11.1-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
In telephoto, there's a significant difference. The main camera on the Pixel 6 delivers up to 7x Super Res Zoom (digital), but the Pro offers 4x optical and then up to 20x Super Res Zoom, making the Pro far more flexible in terms of long-range images.
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro both include laser detect auto-focus as well as optical and electrical image stabilization, whilst the Pixel 6a has basic auto-focus with dual-pixel phase-detection but also has OIS and EIS.
Many of the same functions are available on all three cameras, including Magic Eraser, Real Tone, Face Unblur, Night Sight, Cinematic Pan, and Portrait mode, to name a few. Motion Blur is the one feature that the Pixel 6a lacks when compared to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.
The Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro all have back cameras that can record 4K video, but only the Pixel 6 Pro has a front camera that can capture 4K video. The front camera of the Pixel 6a and 6 can record 1080p video.
CONNECTIVITY AND SENSORS
5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC are all available on the Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro. A USB Type-C port is also included in all three of them.
The Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro all have a fingerprint sensor built into the display. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are all included in the three phones.
CONCLUSION
The Google Pixel 6a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro have fairly similar looks, but the Pro model has a little more luxury finish with a curved display and triple back camera than the Pixel 6, while the Pixel 6 has a slightly more expensive finish than the Pixel 6a.
Certain characteristics, like screen size and refresh rate, camera capabilities, RAM and storage capacity, and battery capacities, increase as you progress through the Pixel 6 versions. You do, however, pay for those step-ups, and you may discover that you don't need all of them, or that you're willing to sacrifice in certain areas to save money.
The Google Pixel 6 Pro will be worth every cent for some, and it is an outstanding gadget, but the Pixel 6 is also a great product, and let's not forget that while the Pixel 6a makes a few concessions here and there, it still offers the same design, processor, and 5G for a very low price.
