Meta Muse AI Adds Spotify Integration for Music and Podcasts

Meta's Muse AI agent will now support Spotify, expanding its integration with popular services. Users in the US, Canada, and Mexico can connect Muse to Spotify to play music, audiobooks, and podcasts. This update follows recent connections with services like Box, GitHub, Notion, Expedia, Turo, Viator, 1Password, OpenTable, Peloton, Plaid, Ticketmaster, Shop Pay, Stripe's Link, and PayPal.

Spotify Integration Details

Now the Muse  users can ask the AI agent to connect to Spotify directly within their conversation. Once connected, Muse can play audio content, save items to the user's Spotify library, and build playlists. The agent also helps users to discover new music, audiobooks, or podcasts based on their preferences.

A dynamic feature is the ability to create a Personal Podcast. It can turn daily briefings, notes, and ideas into audio content, which it saves to the user's Spotify library. This allows users to access personalized audio updates easily.

Availability and Supported Platforms

For now Muse remains available only in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Meta has not announced any timeline for expansion to other countries. The AI agent features a customizable avatar, allowing users to personalize their experience.

It operates across Meta's platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Threads. It can also interact with the mentioned third-party services and Meta's own apps, providing a unified experience for users. All Muse features are currently offered free of charge.

Recent Service Connections

In addition to the Spotify, Muse recently added support for several other services. This includes box for file storage, GitHub for code repositories, idea for note-taking, Expedia for travel bookings, Turo and Viator for car rentals and tours, 1Password for password management, and OpenTable for restaurant reservations. Payment integrations include Shop Pay, Stripe's Link, and PayPal.

These connections allow Muse to do tasks such as booking travel, managing passwords, and making payments, all through conversational interaction. This broadens the agent's utility beyond Meta's platforms.
