OnePlus 9R Display
OnePlus 9R comes with the same gorgeous 6.55 inches Fluid AMOLED display running at 120 Hz with the support of HDR10+, which is also seen on other OnePlus devices. There is also a punch hole camera cutout for the selfie camera on the top left of the display.
OnePlus 9R Specifications
The OnePlus 9R is powered by an all-new Snapdragon 870 which is basically an overclocked Snapdragon 865 paired with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The battery capacity is also the same 4500 mAh as seen on other devices from OnePlus with support for 65 W Warp Charging.
OnePlus 9R Camera
The Camera system of the OnePlus 9R is identical to that of the OnePlus 8T with 48 Mp primary, 16 MP ultrawide, a 5 MP macro and a 2 MP monochrome shooter. The same 16 MP front-facing camera is used as its predecessor.
OnePlus 9R Connectivity
Other than the older Bluetooth 5.1 LE, the OnePlus 9R has all the latest connectivity standards including WiFi 6 dual-band and DLNA.
Verdict
The OnePlus 9R is just the older OnePlus 8T repacked with a slightly tweaked and improved SoC and a new name. Still, just like the OnePlus 8T, this is an amazing device and given the lowered price, the OnePlus 9R is a solid mid-range device with flagship-level performance under the hood.
