OnePlus Turbo Pro Leak: 200MP Camera, 9,000mAh+ Battery Tipped

A new leak points to a performance-focused OnePlus Turbo Pro with a Snapdragon “Pro” chip, though OnePlus hasn’t confirmed the phone or any India plans.

Key highlights

• The OnePlus Turbo Pro is tipped to have a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 185Hz refresh rate, a 200MP main camera and a battery of at least 9,000mAh, with engineering samples reaching 10,000mAh.
• It is rumoured to use Qualcomm’s 3nm SM8845 Pro, which could be marketed as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Pro or 8 Gen 6. An external cooling fan accessory is also tipped.
• No India launch or price has leaked. OnePlus rebranded the Turbo 6 as the Nord 6 for India, so a Nord-series version is possible but speculative.
• OnePlus hasn’t confirmed the phone, its name or its launch date. The leak points to a China launch around the end of the year.

Leaked specifications

The screen size, refresh rate, main camera resolution and battery capacity all match the recently unveiled OnePlus 16, while the chipset is where the two phones differ. The OnePlus 16 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

The chip is the big question

The SM8845 Pro hasn’t been announced. A separate rumour says it could be marketed as either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Pro. The same chip is also rumoured for the iQOO Z12 Turbo. 

What to expect

The launch in India is unconfirmed and the timing is speculative as Oneplus has not released any official statement.
