Nothing Headphone (1) Pro Launched with Triple Drivers and Enhanced ANC

After several teasers, Nothing has officially launched its flagship over-ear headphones, the Headphone (1) Pro. It has three drivers, a stronger noise cancellation setup with 10 microphones, and a premium build that uses glass and titanium.

Key Features and Specifications

The sound comes from three drivers working together. A 40mm dynamic driver handles the bass, a precision dynamic driver covers the mids, and an xMEMS driver with a silicone diaphragm takes care of the treble. These headphones will also support Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking. Sound modes include Standard, Live House, Club and Concert Hall, plus a Studio B mode based on Metropolis Studios. They are Hi-Res Audio certified.

Nothing has also upgraded its noise cancellation features. It will now use 10 microphones and it claims up to 46 dB of noise reduction. For a good audio quality over Bluetooth, the headphones supports  AAC, SBC, LDAC and LC3. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.1, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, quick setup on Apple devices and dual connectivity. There's also a low-latency mode and auto-wear detection.

Design and Battery Life

The outside of each ear cup is scratch-resistant glass, and the frame is lightweight titanium and aluminium. Comfort has been reworked as well. The padding is thicker, the headband is 10% wider than on the original Headphone (1), the ear cups are more flexible and the cushions are softer. The headphones are IP52-rated and have tactile switches, including a Switch button that toggles the Flat EQ.

The 1,060mAh battery can lasts up to 30 hours with ANC on and up to 68 hours with ANC off. You can also charge it fastly over USB-C. The headphones weigh 327 grams, comes in Black and White, and will ship with a padded carrying case.
