OnePlus has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Nord Buds 4 in India. This follows the release of the Nord Buds 4 Pro in March, which offered active noise cancellation (ANC) and up to 54 hours of total battery life with its charging case.
On social media, OnePlus shared a teaser for the Nord Buds 4, providing the first glimpse of the new earbuds. The teaser shows an in-ear design with silicone ear tips and stem-style earbuds. The charging case for the Nord Buds 4 features a rectangular shape, which differs from the oval-shaped case seen with previous models.
The Nord Buds 4 will join OnePlus' budget true wireless stereo (TWS) lineup in India. The company has not yet revealed the official launch date or the complete specifications for the new earbuds.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 will be positioned below the Nord Buds 4 Pro in terms of pricing. To offer a more affordable option, the Nord Buds 4 will likely exclude some premium features. These may include support for high-end audio codecs and advanced active noise cancellation capabilities.
The Nord Buds 4 Pro, launched earlier in 2024, included features such as ANC and a long-lasting battery, making it a higher-end option in the lineup. The Nord Buds 4 aims to provide a budget-friendly alternative for consumers seeking essential wireless earbud features.
OnePlus continues to expand its TWS offerings in India, targeting different price segments. The introduction of the Nord Buds 4 is part of this strategy, aiming to attract users looking for affordable wireless audio solutions. The company’s approach includes differentiating models by design and feature set to cater to a broad range of preferences.
