The Realme 16T is the first device in the new 16T series. It features an 8,000mAh battery and a 50MP main camera. The phone arrives with a USB-A to USB-C cable, a 45W charger, and a protective case in the box.
The Realme 16T sports a 6.8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1570x720 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint scanner is positioned on the right side of the frame for easy access. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which includes an 8-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MC graphics processor. The unit reviewed comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The standout feature is the 8,000mAh battery, which Realme claims will maintain its health for up to 7 years. The company also states that the 16T will remain smooth for at least 6 years. This is achieved through software that scans for storage fragments, cleans redundant data, organizes file structure, and performs deep maintenance while the user sleeps.
The Realme 16T is available in Aurora Green, with global markets also receiving a Starlight Black variant. Indian consumers have access to an exclusive Starlight Red model. The Aurora Green version features the "Gleaming Wings Gradient Texture Process" on the back panel, creating a textured feel and a unique visual effect under certain lighting conditions.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor paired with the Aura Flash. The Aura Flash offers several lighting modes, such as plain flash, studio light, and rim light, and includes a selfie mirror. The mirror allows users to see their reflection for group photos and adds a playful element to photography. The flash can adjust to different lighting conditions to enhance photo quality. The phone also features the AI Portrait Glow flash for improved portrait shots.
Battery life performance data for the Realme 16T will be provided after further testing.
