V-Guard has introduced the Zivardo 100 air cooler in India, targeting large living spaces and offices. The cooler features a 100-litre water tank and a 20-metre air throw, making it suitable for areas up to 580 square feet. The Zivardo 100 is priced at Rs 12,999 on the official website, with a maximum retail price of Rs 19,999. It will be available through retail and authorised channels across the country.
The Zivardo 100 is designed for large rooms, open halls, or small commercial spaces where standard coolers may not provide sufficient coverage. Its 100-litre tank reduces the need for frequent refills, which is especially useful in regions with long power cuts or high temperatures.
The cooler uses three-sided honeycomb cooling pads with antifungal treatment. These pads retain water more efficiently and offer better cooling than traditional wood wool pads. The antifungal layer helps reduce odour and microbial growth over time, improving hygiene and performance.
An integrated ice chamber allows users to add ice for faster cooling during peak summer heat. This feature is particularly helpful in dry climates where evaporative cooling alone may not be effective.
The Zivardo 100 is powered by a double ball bearing motor equipped with thermal overload protection. This design aims to enhance durability and maintain consistent performance during prolonged use, which is common in Indian summers.
The cooler also features a concealed pump to protect against damage from hard water, a common issue in many Indian households. This design choice helps reduce maintenance needs and extends the product's lifespan.
Users can operate the cooler using a simple three-speed knob, offering high, medium, and low settings. This straightforward control system ensures ease of use for all users.
V-Guard provides a warranty of one year on the product and two years on the motor and pump. The company supports customers through a service network of over 550 centres across India.
The Zivardo 100 is expected to be available soon through both retail and authorised sales channels nationwide. Its large tank and long air throw make it a practical choice for those needing to cool bigger spaces for extended periods.
