Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) Headphones Leak: Specs, Design & Price
Leaked renders reveal the Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) headphones with six color options, Lossless USB-C audio, upgraded ANC, and a $359 expected price.

Bose is preparing to launch the QuietComfort (2nd Gen) over-ear headphones, three years after the original model. Leaked renders and details have surfaced online, revealing the design and features of the upcoming device.

Key Highlights

  • Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) headphones feature a refreshed design and six color options.
  • Each earcup includes three microphones for improved active noise cancellation.
  • Expected price is $359 with launch possibly as early as next week.

Design and Build Details

The Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) will feature a refreshed look with a modern aesthetic. The headphones use more soft, synthetic leather details than the previous generation. The earcups have a redesigned oval shape, and the outer cover appears flatter compared to the first generation. The headband is wider and wrapped in padded synthetic leather for improved comfort. The mesh lining inside the earcups uses a contrasting color, adding a distinct visual element.

Each earcup contains three microphones to support active noise cancellation. Bose continues to use physical buttons for playback and controls, as shown in the leaked images. The earcups can rotate flat, allowing the headphones to fit inside a carrying case for portability. The renders display the carrying case alongside the headphones.

Color Options and Features

The Bose QuietComfort (2nd Gen) will be available in six color options: Black, DewDrop Mint, Eucalyptus Green, Hazelnut Taupe, Rosewood Mauve, and White Smoke. These choices provide a range of styles for users.

The headphones are expected to offer Lossless sound output via USB Type-C. Improved noise cancellation and new listening modes are also among the key features. The inclusion of three microphones per earcup aims to enhance the active noise cancellation performance.

Pricing and Availability

Reports suggest that Bose may unveil the QuietComfort (2nd Gen) as early as next week. The expected price is $359, with equivalent pricing in Europe at €350 and in the United Kingdom at £300. Official confirmation of the launch date and pricing is still pending.
