The iQOO 11 5G, the company's newest flagship model, was recently released in India. It is the first smartphone in India to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which further enhances the device's potency and power.
You also get a gorgeous design that was inspired by BMW Motorsport. Other than that, it has a gorgeous 2K E6 AMOLED display, which is the best around for watching content. You really don't have to wait long before getting back on your phone when combined with 120W fast charging.
iQOO 11 5G price in India starts from Rs 59999 for the base model with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. There is also the higher variant model with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage available for Rs 64999.
The smartphone is available in two colour options, Alpha which is in Matte Black finish and Legend which uses the iconic BMW Motorsport colour scheme.
Let me start by saying that the iQOO 11 5G looks fantastic and will definitely catch the attention of passersby from a distance. There are two different design options for the phone: Legend and Alpha. For the review, I am in possession of the Legend version.
It has a gorgeous and incredibly upscale BMW Motorsport design aesthetic. Although we have seen this design on iQOO phones before, it never gets stale. The back panel is almost entirely white, but there is a red, black, and blue strip that runs vertically from top to bottom.
You receive a vegan leather back that feels luxurious in the hand and resists fingerprints. This material also has the benefit of providing a good grip and resisting slipping, unlike other phones with glass backs.
The 2K 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display on the iQOO 11 5G is the country of India's first of its kind. It supports 144Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits of maximum brightness. You receive an instant touch sampling rate of 1200Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz. The best smartphone display is this one, based solely on specifications.
India's first of its kind 2K 6.78-inch E6 AMOLED display is found on the iQOO 11 5G. It supports a maximum brightness of 1800 nits and a refresh rate of 144Hz. You get a touch sampling rate of 300Hz and an instant touch rate of 1200Hz. Based solely on specifications, this smartphone display is the best.
Additionally enjoyable was playing games on the phone. There are no shutters, and the response time is quick. Additionally, the bezels are extremely thin on all sides, which improves the viewing quality. There is only a tiny punch-hole camera on top, which has no impact on any form of media consumption.
The panel is extremely bright and is easily usable outdoors even on a sunny day.
Since it is the first smartphone to be released in India with the newest flagship chipset, performance is the iQOO 11 5G's true selling point. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 256 GB of internal UFS 4.0 storage.
Well, if we're talking about regular use, it's great. I had no problems using Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat all at once. Lags and slowdowns have no meaning to the phone. A true beast, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is.
No problems with multitasking, seamless app switching, and highest graphic settings for gaming. Genshin Impact and Apex Legends Mobile both ran smoothly at the highest graphic settings while I was playing them. Absolutely no lags occurred, not even when loading. Also keep in mind that your 144Hz high refresh rate display improves both your gaming and daily experiences.
There is no doubt in my mind that this is the fastest android phone I have ever tested, and it is one of the best gaming phones currently available in the market.
The Funtouch OS 13 skin, which is based on Android 13, the most recent Android version available, powers the iQOO 11 5G. The UI has a pleasant, optimised feel. The software did not seem to have any bugs or lags.
Numerous customization options are available. You receive a single location for notifications and shortcut toggles. When you open the app drawer, a recommended apps section is visible at the top. The rest of it looks remarkably similar to other Funtouch-powered smartphones.
iQOO has also promised that the device will receive three years of major Android updates, that means the iQOO 11 5G will receive Android 16. The company also says that the phone will get at least 4 years of security updates.
On the back, the iQOO 11 5G has a triple camera setup. A 50MP primary camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens are all included. A 16MP selfie camera is located on the front of the device and is housed inside the top punch hole.
In daylight and bright environments, the primary camera captures some really impressive images. The pictures I took had a good dynamic range and were sharp and detailed. The colours appear fantastic and accurate to life.
When you zoom in, you can see that the full 50MP had a more detailed appearance despite having a similar overall appearance. Average and respectable low-light performance can be found. The camera was able to reduce the amount of grain and improve the images when I took a few pictures in dedicated night mode.
The 2X zoom photos look sharp and detailed thanks to the excellent work of the 13MP telephoto lens. The edge detection is done well, and the portrait shots are nice. After taking the picture, you can also modify the blur.
Regarding the ultra-wide lens, the images captured with the 8MP sensor were quite impressive. The images' dynamic range and sharpness are both respectable. Overall, it produces quality wide-angle images.
The primary camera on the phone is also capable of shooting 8K videos at 30 fps, while this may sound like a nice feature to have, I was unimpressed with the video output. 4K videos are much better in quality and you can also record them at 60 fps frame rate which delivers much smoother video.
With a 5000mAh battery inside, the iQOO 11 5G offers a respectable amount of battery life. My impression of the battery backup was excellent. One full day of battery life from the phone is something you can easily accept.
A heavy user can function normally for half a day. I watched for about 5 to 6 hours straight. However, the phone's support for 120W fast charging is its best feature. In a rush? You only need to plug in your phone for five minutes to be ready to go.
The iQOO 11 5G has a respectable amount of battery life thanks to its 5000mAh battery. I thought the battery backup was fantastic. You can easily accept the phone's battery lasting an entire day.
A heavy user can carry on as usual for six hours. I continued to watch for roughly 5 to 6 hours. The phone's best feature is its support for 120W fast charging, though. In a hurry? Your phone only needs to be plugged in for five minutes before you can start using it.
The phone does not support wireless charging, though this might be a deal breaker to some, the 120 W charging is so fast that I usually don’t have to charge the phone for long, so it was not as big of a problem.
A fantastic Android flagship phone that is here to stay is the iQOO 11 5G. The majority of times, the phone is accurate. Be it the excellent performance, the fantastic main camera, the stunning display, or even the stunning design and appearance.
Additionally, you get a respectable battery life, and the 120W fast charging support is the cherry on top. All of this justifies its premium price and moniker as a monster phone.
Other than the lack of the wireless charging capabilities, the phone excels in mostly all the categories. In the end, iQOO 11 5G is an amazing smartphone for those who want the most powerful Android phone.
