The full specifications for the upcoming S60 smartphone and its Vitality Edition variant have reportedly leaked ahead of their official launch. A tipster on Weibo shared detailed information about both models, which are expected to be announced on May 29. The company began teasing the devices earlier this month, building anticipation for their release in China.

S60 Key Features and Specifications

The S60 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch flat display with a 1260p resolution. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It will include a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The telephoto camera uses Sony's IMX882 sensor. On the front, the S60 will offer a 50MP selfie camera.

The smartphone will come with a 7,200 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired charging. The S60 will have a metal frame and a glass back, providing a premium build. It will carry IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The device's dimensions are 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.92 mm, and it weighs 207 grams.

Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an infrared (IR) blaster, and an X-axis linear vibration motor. These features aim to enhance the user experience and device durability.

Vitality Edition Differences

The Vitality Edition will share most of the S60's specifications but with a few notable differences. It will not include the 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Instead of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the Vitality Edition will use the Dimensity 7500 SoC. Due to the absence of the telephoto camera, the device will be lighter, weighing 199 grams.

Both models are expected to maintain similar design elements, including the metal frame and glass back. The Vitality Edition will also offer the same 6.59-inch display and 7,200 mAh battery with 90W wired charging support.

Potential for Similar Models

There is speculation that another model, the V80 Elite, may feature similar specifications to the S60. However, official confirmation has not yet been provided. The leaked information suggests that the company may standardize certain features across its upcoming lineup.
