Amazfit launched the GTR 4 smartwatch in India last month, and next week on November 8th, the company will launch the Band 7 in Asian countries. It will be available on Amazon and Amazfit Indian's official website from the same day.
Amazfit Band 7 is priced at INR 3,499 ($42 / €43), but on November 8th it will be available as part of a launch day offer for INR 2,999 ($36 / €37). The band is available in two colours, elegant beige and classic black. The pink model is included in promotional materials but not available at launch. However, you do have the option to customize your smart band with four strap colours: pink, orange, blue and green.
The Amazfit Band 7 runs on Zepp OS and features a 1.47 inch colour AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 368 x 198 pixels. For added protection, the band also comes with a tempered glass covering and has anti fingertip coating for keeping the band clean.
The Band 7 supports an always-on display and over 50 watch faces, it also has 8 customisable watch faces, you can also create custom watch faces as the band allows users to upload photos from any connected device to create their own watch face.
Band 7 has the usual health and fitness features such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, sleep tracking and stress measurement. It also supports women's menstrual cycle tracking.
In addition, Amazfit Band 7 supports 120 sports modes, walking, running, and elliptical training and the band even has a mode which smartly recognises rowing machines.
Other highlights of the Amazfit Band 7 include 5 ATM water resistance, integrated Alexa and Bluetooth 5.2 BLE. there is no built-in GPS in the Amazfit Band 7, hence the band relies on the connected smartphone for navigating and tracking routes.
Compatible with Android (7.0 and above) and iOS (12.0 and above) devices, Amazfit Band 7 features a 232 mAh battery that can last for 18 days in typical usage scenarios and 12 days in heavy usage scenarios. According to Amazfit, when the battery is completely discharged, it takes about two hours to fully charge it with the included charger.
