Apple Plans iPad Mini Upgrade Featuring Larger 8.7-Inch OLED Screen

According to reports, Apple is laying out to add OLED panels to two of its forthcoming iPad models. The first iPad Pro model modification is listed for release beforehand. There are plans to add a little bigger display to the iPad mini.

By 2026, Apple plans to upgrade the display technology of its iPad mini and iPad Air models with OLED panels. The iPad Air boasts a10.9- inch display, while the iPad mini, which was last upgraded in 2021, has an8.3- inch Liquid Retina IPS TV screen.

Even though the OLED iPad mini is still the company's tiniest tablet, Apple intends to modernize it with an8.7- inch screen that's 0.4 elevation larger than the present edition.

In 2024, Apple intends to unleash new iPad models with OLED panels, which will carry a streamlined iPad Pro with 11- and 13- inch display sizes. This is harmonious with the claim made by Taiwanese request exploration establishment TrendForce that Apple will switch out the iPad Pro12.9- inch model with a 13- inch one.

According to TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is scheduled to deliver updated variants of the iPad Air and iPad mini in 2024. According to Kuo, an iPad Air model with a 12.9-inch display is expected in Q1 2024. In the second half of the year, a new iPad mini and an 11th-generation standard model are anticipated.
