Prices for earlier flagships typically decrease whenever their successors are out, and Samsung did the same in India with its Galaxy S22 devices. The Galaxy S22+ has been withdrawn, the Ultra is still on sale, and only the smallest member of the S22 family is available at a discounted price.
The starting price for the Galaxy S22 is now INR 57,999, and the 256GB model is INR 61,999. These were originally priced at INR 72,999 and INR 76,999, but those were launch prices from a year ago.
The prices listed there are the official ones for Samsung's web store in India, while some stores sell the items for significantly cheaper. Additionally, as we previously mentioned, the S22+ is somewhat difficult to locate, indicating that the entire S22 series will only be available while supplies last before being withdrawn, so you better move quickly.
The Galaxy S22 is still a pretty capable flagship family despite being a year old. One could even claim that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series only offers a slight improvement at a greater price. Additionally, Samsung's additional 4-year software support makes buying the older flagships even more compelling.
