Google Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to be launched by the end of this year. But before the official launch and further details by Google, many rumors and hands-on images surfaced online. According to one of the leaked images, the upcoming Pixel series smartphone, Google Pixel 8 Pro, would have a triple camera setup, LED flash, and possibly 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS storage option.
With the launch of a series of capable camera smartphones, Google has built its reputation as one of the best smartphone brands in the global market. Recently, this mobile brand expanded its flagship Pixel 7 series with the launch of the budget-range Google Pixel 7a. Google is readying for one of the biggest smartphone launches of the year, the Pixel 8 series.
While the official details are yet to be announced, leakers and tipsters have already shared leaked images and information about the Pixel 8 Pro.
The hands-on image of the Pixel 8 Pro was shared on Reddit, indicating a large camera visor placed on the rear similar to that available in Pixel 7 series. Further, the rear camera module packs triple camera sensors and a LED flash. Unlike Pixel 7, where all telephoto camera sensors are separately placed, all three camera sensors are in a single unit in Pixel 8.
Additionally, the leaked image of the Pixel 8 Pro is a test unit, as it's visible from the images shared online. The code name of the model is "husky," belonging to Pixel 8 Pro, while the Zuma-B1 sticker on the back of the mobile underlines a codename for the Google Tensor G3 chipset.
Based on rumors, the upcoming smartphone from Google, which is Google Pixel 8 Pro, would pack a triple camera setup on the rear, including a 50-megapixel primary camera sensor, a 64-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. According to Ross Young, Pixel 8 would have a smaller display, while Pixel 8 Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch high-resolution and bright display configuration.
Under the hood, the smartphone gets a Tensor G3 chipset, heavily focused on gaming and AI. Based on reports shared by Android Authority, the upcoming smartphone from Google may pack a 4,950mAh battery, up from the 4,926mAh battery pack available in Pixel 7 Pro.
