India's improved ranking According to Ookla's Speedtest Global Index, India jumped from the 64th position in March to the 60th position in April. The report indicates that India's mobile data speed increased by 115 percent in April 2023. Ookla recorded an average mobile download speed of 36.35 Mbps for India in April, compared to 33.30 Mbps in March.

Global rankings and updates According to the April Speedtest Global Index by Ookla, Senegal showed the highest rise in rank, while Qatar maintained its position as the country with the highest overall average mobile speeds. Bahrain experienced the largest increase in rank for overall stable global average speed. Singapore retained its top position in Global Fixed Median Speed for the month.
