Infinix has officially launched the Hot 70 series, starting with the standard model. Other versions, including the Pro and Pro+, will arrive later. The Hot 70 introduces a unique heat-sensitive design and several hardware upgrades. This release provides insight into what future models in the series may offer.
The standout feature of the Infinix Hot 70 is its Thermo Orange color option. This color changes shade based on temperature. When cool, the back appears as Quiet Orange. As the device warms, it shifts to a brighter Playful Orange. Additional color choices include Green Texture, Quiet Violet, Dive Blue, Silver Dancer, and Night Pulse.
The Hot 70 is slim and lightweight, weighing 195 grams and measuring 7.49mm thick. This makes it comfortable to hold and easy to carry. The design aims to appeal to users looking for both style and practicality.
The device runs on the Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, which also powered last year’s Infinix Note 50 Pro and 50 Pro+ models. It offers several memory configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. These options provide flexibility for different user needs.
The Hot 70 features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 720 x 1576 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination delivers smooth visuals and responsive touch performance. The large display is suitable for media consumption and gaming.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the Hot 70, which is notable for a device just 7.5mm thick. The battery supports 45W wired charging, allowing for quick power-ups. The phone also offers 10W reverse charging, enabling it to charge other devices when needed.
On the rear, the Hot 70 has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.9 aperture, paired with an auxiliary lens. Infinix has not specified the function of the second lens, but it is likely a depth sensor. The front camera is an 8MP f/2.0 unit, suitable for selfies and video calls.
The device runs Android 16 with Infinix’s XOS 16 overlay. This provides users with the latest software features and security updates. An unusual feature for this segment is a dedicated hardware button. Users can assign this button to launch apps or activate specific functions.
