In October of this year, the book-style foldable smartphone, OnePlus Open which was released worldwide, made its debut in India. Driven by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and having a 4,800mAh battery with 67W wired SuperVOOC charging, the gadget has a triple Hasselblad rear camera configuration. The phone's latest software update adds support for eSIM, a virtual SIM card that replaces the physical ones that are frequently seen in high-end flagship smartphones.
Firmware version 13.2.0.116 of the OnePlus Open upgrade was released by the company in India. Along with eSIM capabilities, this update also contains bug fixes, better system efficiency, and noticeable camera improvements. According to OnePlus, the update improves tone and color accuracy and telephoto camera clarity.
The 7.82-inch 2K Flexi-fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED inner display on the OnePlus Open has a peak brightness of 2,800 nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. A 6.31-inch 2K LTPO 3.0 Super Fluid AMOLED outside screen with Ultra Thin Glass protection is also included in the gadget.

It is equipped with an Adreno 740 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood. The phone has a triple camera configuration branded with the Hasselblad name, supports twin nano SIM cards, and runs OxygenOS 13.2.
The gadget has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, Beidou, GLONASS, and a USB Type-C connection with USB 3.1 are among the connectivity choices available. The OnePlus Open is priced at Rs. 1,39,999 and comes in Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black color options.
