Today, OnePlus announced its plan to bring the new Nord 2T in India, unveiled on May 19, to India. Nord 2T will be available for purchase on July 5th 2022. Similar to the OnePlus 8T and the 7T series, the OnePlus Nord 2T is the souped-up version of the already excellent Nord 2. Let's see how exactly has OnePlus bumped the specs for it.
OnePlus Nord 2T Screen
The Nord 2T shares the same display as the Nord 2, the 6.43” FHD+ display can refresh at 90Hz. Being an AMOLED panel with rich colours and above-average brightness, it is still one of the best displays in the mid-range segment. There is a quick and reliable in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentications.
OnePlus Nord 2T Design
From the front, the Nord 2T looks exactly like the Nord 2 with a punch-hole camera cutout on the top left corner. The camera arrangement on the back features an unusual design, which houses two large black disks. The device will be available in two colours, Jade Fog and Grey Shadow. The Grey Shadow variant features a matte finish reminiscent of the original OnePlus One.
OnePlus Nord 2T Specifications
Even though the jump from Dimensity 1200 to Dimensity 1300 looks significant on paper, in reality, Dimensity 1300 brings very slight improvements with the MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 which will bring slight improvements in gaming.
Paired with 6 or 8 GB of RAM the Nord 2T performs almost identical to the Nord 2 in benchmarks. Another major improvement seen in the Nord 2T is in terms of charging, the battery capacity of the device is still a hefty 4500mAh but the charging speed has seen an improvement from 65W to 80W.
Other than that the OnePlus Nord 2T is still the same excellent device as the Nord 2 with the same camera performance and display.
Unlike the other OnePlus T devices, which brought a host of improvements, the Nord 2T is almost the same device as the Nord 2, it seems that OnePlus just renamed and launched the same device, with small tweaks here and there.
OnePlus Nord 2T price in India
OnePlus Nord 2T will be available from the 5th of July with a price tag of Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB/128GB and Rs. 33,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.
