Samsung Infinite One-Way Cassette AC launched in India with prices starting at ₹1,60,000, including GST.
The premium air conditioner features nine ambient lighting modes, Wide WindFree cooling technology and a copper anti-bacterial filter.
Built-in Wi-Fi enables SmartThings app control, energy monitoring, voice commands and AI-powered personalised cooling.
Samsung has launched its Infinite One-Way Cassette AC in India, targeting premium residential interiors and commercial spaces with a combination of advanced cooling technology, ambient lighting and smart connectivity. Starting at ₹1,60,000, including GST, the new air conditioner aims to integrate climate control with the aesthetics of modern homes, offices and premium commercial environments.
The new series is available in two configurations, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) and Commercial Split (CAC). With its slim design, draft-free cooling features and app-based controls, Samsung is positioning the product as a premium alternative to conventional air-conditioning systems.
The Infinite One-Way Cassette AC starts at ₹1.60 lakh, including GST. Samsung is offering the series through its commercial air-conditioning channel partners across India.
The VRF configuration is available in four cooling capacities, while the Commercial Split variant comes in three options. This gives buyers flexibility when selecting a model for different room sizes and cooling requirements.
Configuration | Available Cooling Capacities |
VRF | 2.8kW, 3.6kW, 5.6kW, 7.1kW |
Commercial Split (CAC) | 3.5kW, 5.2kW, 7.1kW |
Starting price | ₹1,60,000, including GST |
Availability | Commercial AC channel partners across India |
The final price may vary depending on the selected capacity, installation requirements and configuration.
One of the main attractions of the new Samsung cassette AC is its Ambient Edge Lighting system, which offers nine lighting modes designed to complement different interior settings.
Samsung said the lighting options draw inspiration from the body's natural circadian rhythm, which regulates the sleep-wake cycle. Warm, Natural and Cool settings are available at High and Low intensity levels, while Smart Lighting Intensity automatically adjusts brightness according to the surroundings.
The feature is designed to make the air conditioner more than a cooling appliance, allowing it to contribute to the atmosphere of a room.
The unit measures just 13.8cm in depth, supporting a slim, minimalist appearance. Its exterior uses acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), a material Samsung says offers resistance to ultraviolet exposure and long-term durability.
The new cassette AC features Samsung's upgraded Wide WindFree technology, designed to distribute air gently and evenly across indoor spaces.
According to the company, the latest model has a panel twice as wide as that of the previous generation, paired with a wider air outlet featuring 17,000 micro-holes. This design disperses air without creating the direct, cold drafts commonly associated with conventional air conditioners.
Samsung says the system helps create a more comfortable, still-air environment while reducing operating noise and improving energy efficiency.
These features could be particularly relevant in premium bedrooms, meeting rooms and offices where consistent temperatures and quieter operation are important.
Samsung has also equipped the Infinite One-Way Cassette AC with a copper anti-bacterial filter certified by Intertek.
The company claims the filter captures airborne particles and reduces certain harmful bacteria by up to 99%. It is also designed to keep the heat exchanger cleaner, helping maintain consistent cooling performance.
However, the stated bacterial reduction applies to the specific claims and testing conditions associated with the filter. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the air conditioner eliminates all airborne pathogens or replaces dedicated air-purification measures.
The new Samsung cassette AC comes with built-in Wi-Fi, allowing users to connect directly to the Samsung SmartThings app without installing an additional module.
The connected features include smartphone-based controls, voice commands, lighting adjustments, Welcome Cooling, energy monitoring and usage-pattern tracking.
The system also supports AI Comfort Mode, which is designed to personalise cooling based on user preferences, alongside Pet Care features.
Vipin Agrawal, head of the SAC business at Samsung India, said the product reflects changing expectations for climate-control solutions, with consumers increasingly seeking a combination of thermal comfort, intelligent technology and design.
With its ₹1.60 lakh starting price, multiple capacity options and integrated lighting and connectivity features, the Samsung Infinite One-Way Cassette AC expands the company's premium air-conditioning portfolio in India. Its appeal will likely depend on whether buyers prioritise design, smart controls and draft-free cooling alongside conventional considerations such as cooling capacity, installation costs and energy consumption.
