The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro were launched in China in November 2020 and made available for sale in some international markets in February 2021. Both devices are expected to have similar specifications in India as they did in China and other international markets. The smartphones run on Android 13 based Funtouch OS 13 and support dual SIM (nano). The X90 features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the X90 Pro boasts a curved AMOLED display. Both smartphones are powered by the 4nm Octacore Mediatek Dimensity 9200 chipset with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and the company's V2 chip has been used for image processing.
The Vivo X90 and X90 Pro also have impressive camera setups. The X90 features a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary sensor, a 12-megapixel 50mm portrait lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It also has a 32-megapixel selfie camera in the hole-punch slot at the top of the display. The X90 Pro has a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary sensor, a 50-megapixel 50mm IMX758 sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Its 32-megapixel selfie camera is placed in the hole-punch cutout in the middle of the display.
Another highlight of the Vivo X90 series is its battery life. The Vivo X90 packs a 4,810mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging, while the X90 Pro has a slightly bigger 4,870mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. While the pricing of the X90 and X90 Pro in India is yet to be announced, the devices were launched at MYR 3,699 (about Rs 71,600) and MYR 4,999 (roughly Rs. 96,800) respectively in Malaysia. The Vivo X90 is available in Breeze Blue and Astrod Black color, while the X90 Pro comes in the Legend Black color. Overall, the Vivo X90 series is expected to offer impressive features and performance at a competitive price point, making it a compelling option for Indian consumers.
