Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A7 Pro in India, marking the first 'Pro' model in its Redmi A-series. The phone features a large 6.9-inch display, an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, and a 6300mAh battery. The Redmi A7 Pro is positioned as an entry-level smartphone and will be available in three color options. Sales begin April 15 through Amazon, Mi.com, and major retail stores.

The Redmi A7 Pro offers a 6.9-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of peak brightness. The display supports Wet Touch technology 2.0, allowing users to operate the phone with oily or damp fingers. It also holds triple TUV Rheinland eye-comfort certification to help reduce eye strain during prolonged use.

The device runs on the Unisoc T8300 processor and supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM expansion. It operates on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0. The phone has a slim 8.15mm profile and includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The IP52 rating offers basic protection against dust and water.
