GTA 6 Pre-Orders Open Worldwide, Launch Set for November 2026

Rockstar Games has started global pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the most anticipated video games. Indian gamers can pre-order GTA 6 at the same time as other regions, starting June 25, 2026. The official launch date for GTA 6 is November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.

Pre-Order Details and Pricing

Pre-orders for GTA 6 began at midnight local time on June 25. Indian players can secure their copy through the PlayStation and Xbox digital stores, as well as selected physical retailers. Two editions are available: the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition.

The Standard Edition costs Rs 5,999 in India and $79.99 in the US. The Ultimate Edition is priced at Rs 7,499 in India and $99.99 in the US. The Standard Edition price is higher than the typical $70 for major video games.

The Ultimate Edition includes in-game bonuses such as exclusive vehicles, outfits, weapons, and additional content for the main characters, Jason and Lucia. New items unlock as players progress through each chapter.

Anyone who pre-orders either edition before November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, which features 80s-themed retro items. Pre-orders also come with a free one-month GTA+ subscription, available for immediate redemption.

Digital pre-orders allow pre-loading from November 12, one week before the official release. Physical copies will not include a disc at launch. Instead, the box will contain a digital download code, which also supports pre-loading from November 12.

Platform Features and Availability

GTA 6 will be available on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. Sony has highlighted several features that may make the PlayStation 5 version stand out. The PS5's ultra-high speed SSD will enable near-instant loading times, allowing players to move through Vice City and the state of Leonida with minimal delays.

The PS5 controller's built-in speaker will be used for key in-game moments, enhanced by haptic feedback. The console's Tempest 3D Audio technology will provide an immersive audio experience throughout the game world.

Sony has not commented on any potential enhancements for the PS5 Pro. There is no information yet about an upgraded version for that console.

Rockstar Games has not announced a launch date for the PC version of GTA 6. Based on previous releases, a PC version may arrive 12 to 18 months after the console launch, but this has not been officially confirmed.

At launch, GTA 6 will be a single-player game. GTA Online will be released separately at a later date.
