Samsung has launched its Galaxy XR headset in the UK, expanding availability beyond Korea and the US. Pre-orders are now open, with the device priced at £1,699. Shipping for UK customers will begin on July 8. The Galaxy XR is available only in the Silver Shadow color.
The Galaxy XR headset is offered at a retail price of £1,699. Samsung has also introduced two key accessories: the Galaxy XR Travel Case and the Galaxy XR Controllers. Each accessory is priced at £249. Customers who purchase either accessory alongside the Galaxy XR headset before September 30 will receive a 30% discount on the accessory.
Samsung is offering additional savings for early buyers. Customers can save £100 on the Galaxy XR headset if they use PayPal for payment and enter the code PAYPALXR at checkout. This offer is valid until July 7. Another promotion allows buyers to receive a 10% discount on the headset if they purchase it together with any Galaxy smartphone.
Samsung is providing further bundle discounts. Customers can save 10% on a Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Buds when they buy either device together with the Galaxy XR headset. These offers are available through Samsung's official UK sales channels.
The Galaxy XR headset was first introduced in October 2025. Until now, it had only been available in Korea and the United States. The UK launch marks the device’s entry into a new market, with Samsung targeting both individual consumers and technology enthusiasts.
The Galaxy XR headset is currently offered in a single color, Silver Shadow. There are no other color variants announced for the UK market at this time. All promotional offers are valid for a limited period and may be subject to stock availability.
Samsung’s latest move aims to strengthen its presence in the extended reality (XR) segment in the UK. The company is leveraging bundled discounts and early-bird offers to attract new customers and boost initial sales.
