Acer has launched the TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 in India, a premium 14-inch business notebook built on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and the Intel vPro platform. The company is pitching it at small and medium businesses, large enterprises and global capability centres (GCCs) that want AI-ready performance along with enterprise-grade security and remote manageability.
Feature | Details |
AI-ready performance | Intel Core Ultra Series 3 splits workloads across the CPU, GPU and NPU. Acer says this suits everyday productivity, video conferencing, content creation and AI applications that run locally. |
Build | All-aluminium body, under 18mm thick, weighing less than 1.4kg |
Durability | MIL-STD-810H certified, according to Acer. The announcement does not list the tests involved. |
Display | 14-inch FHD IPS, 16:10 aspect ratio, 300 nits brightness |
Memory | Up to 128GB dual-channel DDR5 |
Storage | Two M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD slots, including PCIe 5.0 x4 support. IT teams can tailor configurations and add capacity later. |
Ports and charging | Two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt for data transfer, display output and single-cable charging |
Wireless | Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE211 and Bluetooth 5.4 in selected configurations |
Camera and login | 5MP IR camera with Windows Hello biometric login, for video calls |
Security and manageability | Intel vPro gives IT administrators enterprise-grade security and remote management tools. This suits companies with distributed or hybrid workforces. |
Acer will sell the TravelLite TL44-53M-G2 in India only through its business and enterprise partners. There is no confirmed price or release date yet, and cost will depend on how each customer configures the machine. Battery capacity hasn’t been shared either, though Acer promises a full workday of power, subject to how the laptop is used. Among 14-inch vPro business laptops, it will go up against the Dell Pro 14, HP EliteBook 6 series and Lenovo’s ThinkPad T14 and L14.
