Amazon Echo Pop Launched In India

Amazon has introduced its latest smart speaker, the Amazon Echo Pop, in India. This new speaker comes with the support of the company's voice assistant, Alexa. The Amazon Echo Pop features the Amazon AZ2 Neural Edge processor, which promises fast voice command response. It also offers Bluetooth connectivity.

The Amazon Echo Pop is priced at Rs 4,999 and is available in Black, Green, Purple, and White color options. It can be purchased from Amazon India as well as select retail stores.

In terms of specifications, the Amazon Echo Pop deviates from the circular design of the Echo Dot speakers and adopts a semi-circular design. It sports a 1.95-inch front-firing directional speaker and includes an LED light. The speaker supports platforms such as Amazon Prime Music, Hungama, Spotify, JioSaavn, and Apple Music.

Equipped with the AZ1 chip, the Amazon Echo Pop features built-in Alexa and a built-in microphone. It also has a dedicated button to disable the microphone. For connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Users can control smart home products from brands like Wipro, Syska, and Xiaomi using the Amazon Echo Pop. The speaker weighs 196 grams in total.
