Google Maps' New Design Improves Navigation for Android

Google Maps is launching a new interface for Android users, with a sheet-based design that keeps the map in constant view, removing the need to flip between panels for data such as position, route, or local landmarks. This redesign provides a cleaner, more simplified interface, making it quicker to find commonly used choices and prioritising critical route facts within the sheets. The upgrade is now only available for Android, but a comparable release for iOS is anticipated shortly.
