Google has launched the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro in India, expanding its Pixel series lineup. Both phones feature the latest Tensor G6 chipset, brighter displays, upgraded cameras, and larger batteries. The Pixel 11 Pro offers a more advanced display, higher RAM on select variants, and a more capable camera system. This article compares the two new Google phones in detail.
The Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro share a similar design. Both have a premium glass build, a horizontal camera bar, and IP68 protection against dust and water. The Pixel 11 is more compact, measuring 152.8 x 72 x 8.6mm and weighing 197g. The Pixel 11 Pro is slightly thinner at 8.4mm but heavier at 204g.
The Pixel 11 comes in Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian colors, with a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back. The Pixel 11 Pro is available in Canyon, Olive, Fog, and Obsidian, also with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Display quality is a key difference between the two models. The Pixel 11 has a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a 1080 x 2424-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It reaches up to 2,000 nits in HDR mode and 3,000 nits at peak brightness.
The Pixel 11 Pro also features a 6.3-inch display but uses a Super Actua LTPO OLED panel with a sharper 1280 x 2856-pixel resolution. Its adaptive refresh rate ranges from 1Hz to 120Hz. The Pro display achieves up to 2,400 nits in HDR and 3,600 nits at peak brightness.
Both phones use the Google Tensor G6 chipset, offering similar core performance and AI capabilities. The Pixel 11 includes 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage options. The Pixel 11 Pro starts with 12GB RAM on the 256GB model and 16GB RAM on the 512GB version. Google claims the Tensor G6 improves app loading, on-device AI processing, and power efficiency.
The camera setup is another major difference. The Pixel 11 has a 48-megapixel main camera with Macro Focus, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto camera with OIS. The front camera is 10.5 megapixels with autofocus.
The Pixel 11 Pro features a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera with Macro Focus, and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto camera with OIS. Its front camera is 42 megapixels with autofocus. The Pro model supports video recording up to 8K at 24/30fps.
The Pixel 11 has a 4,985mAh battery, while the Pixel 11 Pro has a 4,850mAh battery. Both phones offer over 30 hours of battery life, support up to 30W wired charging, and include Qi2 wireless charging support.
The Pixel 11 starts at Rs 89,999 in India. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,999. Google offers launch benefits such as up to Rs 10,000 instant cashback, up to Rs 9,000 exchange bonus, and up to 24 months of no-cost EMI on eligible purchases.
The Pixel 11 is the more affordable option for those seeking the latest chipset and flagship experience. The Pixel 11 Pro is better suited for users who want a superior display, more advanced cameras, and higher RAM on the top storage variant.
