Google Pixel 9 Series Receives FCC Certification Ahead of August 13 Launch

The Google Pixel 9 series, expected to debut on August 13th, will include four models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The series has been spotted on the FCC website, confirming connectivity features such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and Ultra Wideband (UWB). The inclusion of UWB in all models contradicts earlier rumors that the standard Pixel 9 wouldn't have this feature. Additionally, the series will support Thread for smart home device control. The phones will likely be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset and feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
