Honor Play 70 Plus has been officially launched in China. It's the new addition to the Honor Play series smartphone and is available in four different color options. The handset packs a 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging support. Honor Play 70 smartphone also features a 6.77-inch display with peak brightness of 700 nits. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset powers the device and comes equipped with 12GB of RAM and 512 GB of maximum internal storage. Honor claims the smartphone has an IP65 rating for resistance against dust and water splash.

Honor Play 70 Plus Price

In China, the Honor Play 70 smartphone was launched at CNY 1,399 (approx Rs 17,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB variant is available at CNY 1,599 (approx Rs 19,000). Honor has offered four different color options, including Jade Dragon Snow, Phantom Night Black, Quicksand Pink, and Xiaoshanqing.

Honor Play 70 Plus Specifications

The newly launched Honor Play 70 Plus phone has dual SIM slots (Nano+Nano) and a 6.77-inch HD+ (720x1,610 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate, 700 nits peak brightness, and Aluminosilicate glass protection. This Honor Play series smartphone has a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC and Adreno A619 GPU paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage.

For camera duty, the smartphone has a single 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, while it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and support for face recognition. The camera unit also sports AI-enabled features like AI Eliminate and AI Expand Image. It has an IP68 rating for dust and splash resistance.

In terms of connectivity, it packs Bluetooth 5.1, Beidou, GPS, AGPS, Glonass, Galileo, NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, and OTG. There are sensors, including an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a compass, a fingerprint sensor, and a proximity sensor. Honor has offered dual stereo speakers with Histen 7.3 sound and obtained Gold Label five-star drop resistance certification.

Honor Play 70 Plus phone comes with a 7,000mAh battery pack with 45W fast charging support, which is claimed to deliver up to 23 hours of video playback and up to 12 hours of videocalling time on a single charge. The company claims the battery performance will remain good even after 60 months of use. Moreover, the smartphone measures 166.89 x 76.8 x 8.24 mm and weighs 204 grams.
