On Sunday, Lenovo unveiled its newest portfolio of AI-powered devices at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona. The ThinkBook "Codename Flip" AI PC concept attracted the most attention among all its launches. It features an outward folding OLED display that enables users to select from five modes, including the Clamshell Mode, for routine tasks. The concept laptop also includes a Workspace Split Screen functionality and several AI-enhanced multitasking features.
In a newsroom post, Lenovo provided details on its new concept device equipped with AI-enhanced features. Lenovo's new ThinkBook "Codename Flip" AI PC concept showcases the future of versatile AI-powered hybrid work environments. The device has an 18.1-inch outward folding OLED display that can expand vertically from a conventional 13-inch laptop form factor. With the help of variable design functionality, the users can select between Clamshell Mode for conventional laptop tasks, Vertical Mode for document reviews, Share Mode for dual-display collaborations, Tablet Mode for creative workflow, and Read Mode for distraction-free reading experience.
Moreover, the Lenovo ThinkBook CodeName AI PC Concept boasts an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor coupled with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM. The laptop has a Workspace Split Screen function, which eliminates the requirement for external monitors to run multiple applications side by side. This AI-enabled laptop also has a Smart ForcePad with a 3-layer illuminated dashboard that includes numeric keys and media controls. The laptop has Thunderbolt 4 ports, a fingerprint sensor for connectivity, and safety features.
However, more details on the Lenovo ThinkBook "Codename Flip" AI PC are yet to be revealed, including availability and pricing. Since it's a concept model from Lenovo, it may or may not be launched in the future, given the rising technology trends and rapid changes in the user's need to perform various tasks.
