Starting Thursday, the feature will be available to all Google One subscribers using the Google Photos app on Android or iOS, as well as "all Pixel users." Google One members will now have access to Magic Eraser and the "Camouflage" function, which desaturates distracting background objects without removing them completely. These editing features will be available with any Google One plan, and Pixel users can access them without a plan.
Google is also introducing editing tools such as an HDR effect for videos and exclusive collage editor styles for Google One subscribers and Pixel users. The company expects it will take a few weeks before everyone can access these new photo editing features. This is not the first time Google has added features to One; premium subscribers also have access to a VPN service that works on computers and iPhones, as well as Android phones, and is included at no extra cost with the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. In addition, subscribers have access to other extra photo editing features such as colour focus and smart suggestions.
