One of the emerging and leading London-based smartphone brands, Nothing, has gained huge success after the launch of Nothing Phone (1) thanks to the mobile's unique and transparent design profile and competitive pricing.
According to a recent report, Nothing is gearing up to launch its hugely rumored Phone Nothing (2), which will be the company's second launch, with an upgraded and refined mobile back profile and camera configuration.
Nothing Phone (2) is available for pre-booking in India and is set to be officially launched on July 11. If you plan to buy a new smartphone from one of the promising smartphone brands, knowing more about the key specifications and other details about the Nothing Phone (2) can be helpful.
OnLeaks, a leading smartphone leakster, last month in June leaked the design of Nothing Phone (2). However, the CEO and founder of Nothing Carl Pei denied these leaks, but the recently released images of the upcoming launch reconfirm the previous design leak.
Based on recent reports, Phone (2) will be based on the previously launched Nothing Phone (1) and have some mirror changes, possibly a curved frame and glass protection, and improved lighting zones. This London-based smartphone brand confirmed that the mobile would feature a reduced mid-framed by 1nm and more details across the device.
Moreover, the Nothing Phone (2) is set to be launched in mainly two color options: grey and white, while the Phone (1) is available in black and white color options. Similar to Phone (1), this upcoming launch from the company can have a bright display with a side punch hole.
Before the official announcement of the Nothing Phone (2) launch, Nothing unveiled some key specifications. This newest launch from the company will feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen SoC, while there is a Snapdragon 775G+ chipset in the predecessor.
The smartphone's also expected to be launched in many variants, including 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There could be three storage options available in Nothing Phone (2), such as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, in addition to 8GB or 12GB high-speed RAM.
Another industry report suggests the mobile gets a dual-rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It may offer a 32-megapixel selfie camera based on Sony IMX615 for stunning selfies. The same report also states that the Nothing Phone (2) can have a 6.7-inch display with 1080x2412 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
It may pack a 4,700mAh larger battery pack than a 4,500mAh battery in a Phone (2). The phone will support fast charging and be available with a complementary Type-C data cable. Further, the Nothing Phone (2) will run on Android 13-based OS and comes equipped with Glyph composer, allowing buyers to customize ringtones through Glyph lighting.
Nothing Phone (1) is currently available for sale in the market and priced at Rs 30,000, which also saw some price reductions in the last few months. With the upgraded design, camera setup, larger battery, and powerful chipset, Nothing Phone (2) is expected to be priced from Rs 40,000 and speculated to be at least 30% more expensive than the company's previous offering.
