Prior to their Connect 2025 event, the meta has released some very interesting and eye-catching news. A video was recently published on Meta's official YouTube music channel and was later removed. This action made headlines, so why wait? Check it out.
So, in the video, there were Ray-Ban Display smart glasses, which combined a heads-up display with a futuristic gesture-control wristband. The footage shows that the upcoming glasses will include a monocular display in the right lens. This lens is intended to assist users in displaying navigation and other Meta AI features.
In the same video, Meta introduces an sEMG wristband, also known as a smart band. Which is quite different from the fitness bands on the market. This is going to be more compact and feature-rich. While these bands provide hands-free control by interpreting muscle actions.
This new device will be a true collaboration with eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica, Ray-Ban's parent company. This collaboration will ensure top-notch style while also incorporating technology. The Ray-Ban is expected to be heavier than the previous model, weighing approximately 70 grams. According to the report, these smart glasses will cost around $800, which is roughly ₹66,000.
The all-new Ray-Ban display demonstrates Meta's ambition to take smart eyewear to a new level. With Ray-Ban Meta is currently focused on video recording, taking calls, and playing music. The company is taking HUD and gesture control, which take it to the next level.
The collaboration with EssilorLuxottica takes us down the path of social acceptance. While you know every pair of tech glasses looks very odd in public use.
According to the leak, if the information is correct, these glasses will be an amazing drop, and Meta will most likely officially unveil the Ray-Ban display at Meta Connect 2025. Stay tuned for the latest news on the Meta Connect 2025.
