Motorola has once again unveiled a new product in its luxurious collection. So this entirely new product is based on the Edge 70 smartphone, with a special edition Motorola Edge 70 Special Edition debuting in Pantone's 2026 Color of the Year with Swarovski Sparkle. So this limited edition model is completely adorned with genuine Swarovski crystals, providing a perfect blend of style and cutting-edge technology, as well as an appealing product for the buyer who wants their mobile to stand out from the rest.
This smartphone was released globally on December 4, demonstrating the ongoing collaboration between Motorola and Pantone, following previous color-themed releases. The soft, ethereal Cloud Dancer shade exudes tranquility, while the crystal accents add a touch of glam.
So, as you look at this amazing smartphone, you may be wondering what its standout feature is. So, to answer your question, the standout feature of this smartphone is the vegan leather on the back, which has a quilted pattern and is embedded with 14 real Swarovski crystals, giving it a dazzling and beautiful appearance. So this smartphone is very thin; in terms of dimensions, it is only 5.9mm thick, making it the slimmest phone on the market. However, its slim body does not imply fragility; instead, it meets MIL-STD-810H drop and shock durability standards. While this edition includes IP68 water and dust resistance, this smartphone is both stylish and durable.
So, in terms of performance, this smartphone matches the specifications of the base model. This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, ensuring a smooth gaming and multitasking experience with no lag. So this smartphone is running Android 16 and includes advanced AI features for photo editing and increased productivity. It has a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, resulting in a vibrant and seamless experience.
While Motorola is known for its camera features, this one includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 13MP telephoto lens, as well as the ability to record 4K video. On the front, it has a 32MP camera for selfies.
So this entire smartphone is powered by a 4800mAh battery that supports 68W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging, ensuring a full day of battery life while maintaining a slim profile.
While the standard Edge 70 starts around £699 (approximately Rs. 75,000), the Swarovski edition's price has yet to be announced. It will be available in a limited number of markets, including Europe and possibly India, but exact dates have yet to be confirmed. This launch exemplifies Motorola's emphasis on design innovation, combining technology with trends to create a premium yet accessible experience.
