In the near future, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and Hyderabad will all have specialised service centres from Nothing.
Nothing, a UK tech company led by Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, has launched its first exclusive centre in Bangalore and promises a two-hour turnaround on repairs. The company plans to expand its service centres in India to 35 over the next two years, with four more expected in the coming months.
The business had made plans to open its first dedicated service centre in August before the launch of the Nothing Phone 2 in July of this year. In Bengaluru's Indira Nagar, at 100 Feet Road, popularly known as Dr. SK Karim Khan Road, the Nothing exclusive service centre has just begun operations.
According to Nothing Vice President and General Manager Manu Sharma, Nothing's first service centre would give clients priority service and assistance. The UK-based smartphone manufacturer will try to fix products in two hours or give customers an alternate device in case repairs take longer. According to reports, the store would also feature arcade games like Pac-Man for customers to enjoy.
Nothing plans to provide monthly discounts on labor and component costs at its exclusive service center in Indira Nagar on the second weekend of each month. According to reports, users will be able to attend technical workshops in designated rooms at the new service facility, similar to Apple's free sessions at its official retail outlets.
The company said in July that it would open four new service centres in Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The study predicts that by 2025, there will be 35 of these special service facilities, an increase of 15 additional establishments from the current number.
