Nothing Phone 3a Pro Leaked Designs: What's Causing the Online Outrage?

While Nothing introduced the Glyph interface in its Number series devices, the smartphone brand offered a touch of modularity with its budget CMF series the previous year. However, the upcoming Nothing Phone 3a series doesn't match the hype and expectations of users, as leaked images of the 3a series have mostly received negative feedback on social media.

On 4 March, this leading smartphone brand is gearing up to launch its Nothing Phone 3a series, which will likely include Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro, heavily teasing the details and specs of this upcoming device online. However, the brand has yet to introduce the design of its upcoming Phone 3a series officially; a new leak and ample glimpses from tipster Arsène Lupin have provided insights on what to expect from this upcoming smartphone.

The Phone 3a Pro can be found placing a giant camera ring, not unlike that can be seen on the OnePlus 13 series and Vivo X200 series. Nothing's signature Glyph interface can be seen on both sides of a circular ring. Meanwhile, the entire back profile is covered with a transparent design that Nothing smartphones make so popular and unique in the market.

Netizens Upset With Nothing Phone 3a Pro's Design

Many fans of the Nothing phone are upset about its unattractive rear design. On Reddit, one of the users wrote, "The 3a camera module is just weird. The 3a Pro looks fine."

Another Reddit user wrote, "I like how they both look, but that camera module on the 3a Pro is hideous and triggers my trypophobia."

Nothing Phone 3a Pro Features

Recently leaked video suggests that the upcoming Nothing Phone 3a Pro gets a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED LTPS display with 120Hz refresh rate with Panda Glass protection. The smartphone is anticipated to have a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and can draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Processor. It also said that the upcoming Nothing Phone can offer up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options.

In the rear profile, the Phone 3a Pro gets a triple camera shooter with a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto shooter. The upcoming smartphone is also rumored to boast a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. The Phone 3a is also expected to feature an iPhone 16 style action button that can handle some AI-related tasks and is said to run on Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15.
