OnePlus is reportedly developing a mid-range phone with a 7,000mAh battery, potentially utilizing the brand's Glacier Battery technology. This technology, which includes a silicon-carbon anode, allows for higher energy density and smaller battery size. The information comes from reliable tipster DigitalChatStation, who mentions that the Ouga Group, a collaboration between OnePlus and OPPO's R&D labs, is behind this development. Before launching a 7,000mAh model, OnePlus may release a phone with a 6,500mAh battery. Current competitors with similar battery capacities include the Itel P40 Plus and Samsung Galaxy F62.
