OnePlus 11 5G has started receiving the new OxygenOS 15 update in India, which comes with several camera features, multiple system upgrades, and the latest Android security patches. The OxygenOS 15 update in the OnePlus 11 5G also fixes the display location bug, as per the changelog.
OnePlus India launched the OnePlus 11 in February 2023 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 256GB onboard storage. The handset features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor.
According to the changelog on the OnePlus Community website, the Chinese smartphone brand has rolled out OxygenOS 15.0.0.840(EX01) update for the OnePlus 11 5G Phone in India. The new OS update brings ‘Save to Mind Space’ that allows users to add screen content to this space as memories, which are automatically summarized and archived.
One of the major highlights of the new OnePlus 11 5G OxygenOS 15 update is that now owners can use one app in full screen and a second in a floating window, allowing simultaneous usage. It will allow users to make better use of the smartphone’s 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ 10-bit LPTO 3.0 AMOLED display.
Additionally, the update brings new camera features like adding the soft light filter to the native Camera app’s Portrait and Photo modes, enabling users to create a ‘dreamy’ image effect. It includes the AI Perfect Shot feature that recognizes and replaces the facial expressions of the subject in the given image.
There are now new editing options for videos and live photos, allowing users to export videos and live photos as photos in high resolution. A new update has also introduced new customization options for the Photos app, letting the user hide any specific content in different albums.
Importantly, the OxygenOS 15 update includes the July 2025 Android security patch for better system security and fixes the display location issue with mini windows.
As part of the new OnePlus OS update, the company has introduced the ‘Gradual Alarm Volume” feature that progressively increases the alarm volume. The Recorder app now supports customizable grouping for management of audio files. There is an in-person recordings group in the app, automatically listing together audio files recorded during the Standard, Meeting, and Interview modes. The update allows users to select OnePlus Sans and One Sans fonts in additional languages.
For system changes, it allows users to drag and stack widgets of the same size together. There is a Temporarily Block feature on the handset that helps users to swipe up on banner notifications to block them temporarily. Moreover, it adds a shortcut for restarting the phone in its Quick Settings.
