According to some leaks, OnePlus is testing a device with an impressive refresh rate of 165 Hz; if this is true, this will be the first phone with such specifications in the company's product lineup. In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station claims that OnePlus is testing a handset that will support a 165 Hz refresh rate. The new phone is said to have an updated integrated circuit (IC) for a better touch sensor and response time. However, it is unlikely that this will be a flagship mobile. The new update will first be tested on mid-range phones before being rolled out to flagship phones.

If the company tries to enter the mid-range phone market, they will undoubtedly choose the Ace 6 series. While the Ace 6 series hinted at a good pack of specifications, such as a 1.5k resolution display with a 165 Hz refresh rate, if we talk about processors, this could be a Snapdragon 8 series processor, and this OnePlus also tries to give a boost to the phone's battery backup by providing a 7000 mAh battery, as every rival company does, as well as water resistance.
